ETOSHA PAN

Etosha Pan is a vast saline pan located in the north of Namibia. This area covers approximately 4800 km2 and can be seen from space.

Gemsbok, zebra, giraffe, rhino and impala scatter the plains in search of water. Famous watering-holes attract visitors who flock to observe these animals at close quarters. Yellow-bill hornbills are regular sightings, as are flamingo in the rainy season.

Accommodation options range from very basic rest camps located in Etosha National Park to more exclusive private reserves which border the park. We suggest a combination of both to get the best game-viewing possible.
