Bird-Watching: November to February Game-Viewing: May to October |
Namibia is an all-year destination, but it’s worth noting that there are certain times of the year that are better than others for visiting. The best game-viewing is in the winter months between May and October. This is the driest time of year when the bush is at its thinnest, so that game-spotting is easiest. Animals flock to the watering holes in search of water. October to April is the wet season. The landscape is greener and birding is at its best. Animals give birth after the rains, so you can see many newborns.
