Uganda – the “Pearl of Africa” – is home to 10 national parks, each with its own unique draw for visitors, from mountain gorillas and big game to an extinct volcano.

The compact nature of this country allows one to experience a truly African day: the ability to track the mountain gorilla in Bwindi’s Montane forest in the morning, followed by an afternoon grassland-safari spotting lazy lion, a mere 60 km drive away.

Regular scheduled flights between Entebbe and the various national parks facilitate accessibility too.

A tour of western Uganda is a spectacular experience, presenting a variety of forest, mountain and savannah parks – each with its unique activities.
